Windhoek South Africa planned a tactical trade activity across both modern and informal trade environments, and Techsys Digital was asked to develop a consumer mechanic which aligned with the informal trade environment leg of the campaign.
The primary objective of this campaign was to increase sales volumes by engaging and guaranteeing rewards for consumers, for NOT compromising on the beer they buy. "Don't Compromise, Choose Windhoek!"
Techsys Digital helped Windhoek to develop a mechanic that would work within their target market and drive both sales and engagement using machine learning and insights from past campaigns through extensive data mining. Our implementation of USSD technology was innovative and proved to be an excellent entry mechanic for this target market.
The Windhoek USSD campaign exceeded expectations, and is the best performing Windhoek ZA campaign to date! The campaign ended with close to 820 000 consumer interactions, of which 70 200 were unique consumers.
