Techsys believed that the best way to enrich their customer data was to use multiple communication channels. It was decided that an initial sms would be used, followed by a USSD and an interactive email.
The email part of the campaign was aimed at communicating the festive gift card by offering this card as a possible prize. The aim was to make the email visually appealing and clearly communicate the campaigns message.
This email was created using new, interactive technologies whereby the customer was able to select their gender and province in a visual manner rather than the normal text based questions.
This campaign was very successful with a great deal of entries and reads on the email. The USSD proved to be very helpful in gaining more useful information about the cash customer.
