After the immensely successful "Ultimate Fan" campaign, American Swiss wanted to run an equally big and exciting campaign again centred around a grand prize of a 1ct American Swiss diamond ring valued at R50,000. Techsys came up with the Amazing Jewellery Chase campaign, which was once again a fantastic social media integrated campaign.
The site includes a newsfeed and involves participants to complete various exciting and interactive tasks to score points, which determine a ranking on the site scoreboard. The person with the most points at the top of the scoreboard wins and will win the fantastic grand prize.
This campaign included various tasks ranging from real-world to flash catalogues and even a flash game called The Diamond Chaser. Interaction was integrated through the American Swiss Facebook page to announce updates, new tasks, and bonus tasks that had been launched. The campaign has proved to be incredibly popular and serves as another showcase for great design and concept implementation in the social media space.
