Techsys was excited to launch a glamourous digital marketing campaign to promote American Swiss’ 25% off diamonds promotion at the end of June.
The multi-channel digital campaign consisted of web, Facebook, mobile and email components, and formed part of an integrated marketing campaign which included above the line and in-store elements.
Consumers could stand to win a trip for two to New York – an appropriate destination given its lustrous skyline which sparkles as brightly as the jewellery on offer – via any of the online channels using a simple entry mechanic form.
The interactive flash catalogue on the American Swiss website showcased an extensive selection of jewellery grouped by category (platinum & diamonds, white gold, yellow gold etc), whilst the Facebook application and mobi site showcased an edited selection of products. From the flash catalogue, consumers were able to share each jewellery item via Twitter, Facebook, email or to a mobile phone. Furthermore, they were also able to calculate the credit price of each item of jewellery.
The campaign was supported by PPC advertising as well as interactive online banners on popular websites. Some online banners allowed consumers to browse a mini catalogue or enter the competition within the banner. Alternatively, consumers could simply click through to the American Swiss website in order to view more jewellery or enter the competition on the American Swiss website.
The campaign obtained pleasing results with total catalogue views exceeding 1.1 million from 74 000 visitors. The competition enjoyed 42 700 entries, 75% of which came from the website itself and 25% of which came from the mobi site and FB application.
