And, since the festive season was fast approaching, they wanted to launch with a Christmas competition.
Due to concern that a Facebook application would isolate Namibians accessing Facebook via their mobile phones, the Word Quiz competition was instead hosted on a mobi site, with links on the Facebook page encouraging users to participate.
Once they had "Liked" the page via the mobi site, they could submit their details as well as a secret word - which they would find in the shop windows of the mall itself - to be put in the draw to walk away with cash prizes.
