The Sterns Fan of the Week Facebook Application was developed to increase the engagement, fan base and customer experience on the Sterns Facebook page whilst pushing the 25% Off Diamonds campaign.
Consumers simply need to allow permissions and upload a photo within the application to stand a chance to be named Sterns’ Fan of the Week and receive a R1000 Sterns jewellery voucher. The winning fan photo is then uploaded onto the page’s cover page, and posted along with an image post – can you say – instant star status? Apt for the brand that sparkles!
Non fans had to like the Facebook page in order to access the content, boosting Likes. As a result, the Sterns Facebook page has grown by over 1500 likes in the first two weeks of the campaign. The application was launched with a bulk email send with a high click through of approximately 12%!
