Techsys helped to shared Stern’s sparkle by conceptualising and facilitating a digital campaign to advertise their 25% off Diamonds promotion. Three shiny digital elements were employed to execute this polished promotion:
1. A sixteen page digital catalogue hosted on the Sterns website which boasted a hidden ring which consumers stood a chance to win, once they had found it and entered via an entry form.
2. A viral “Share your Sparkle” application hosted on both Facebook and the Sterns website which prompted consumers to tell Sterns what makes them sparkle to see it displayed on the carousel. There was also an option to refer their friends. The lucky winner will walk away with a R25 000 Sterns voucher for themselves and R10 000 for their friend.
3. Two emailers sent to a database of approximately 300 000 recipients which directed traffic to the digital catalogue and application respectively.
Between the middle of May and the end of June, the website had 96,000 visitors, the catalogue 35, 500 views and the data base was grown by approximately 9 600 consumers.
