Following the success we achieved on the Sterns website, which has seen incredible growth over the last year, TFG asked us to do the same again for Mat & May. The previous Mat & May website was static, unengaging and non-responsive and they felt it was time to give their digital presence a bit of a boost.
The brief was simple. The client wanted us to build a site that was more engaging, captivating and sleek, matching it to the chic and trendy image of the brand itself. Our design partners, 28 Stars, took the lead on the design of the new site and we took responsibility for its development, and within 3 months the website was complete.
Due to the growing number of consumers that access web content via smartphones it was essential for the site to be fully responsive. We wanted to make sure that Mat & May customers could view their products on any device at any time, and delivered just that. Desktop, tablet or smartphone, their products always look amazing.
Another key feature to the website is its fully integrated CMS which allows the client to easily upload, edit and manage all of the products that appear across their whole website. The CMS gives the client the means to keep the site up to date and relevant, removing the need for a third party to make slow and costly updates.
The CMS allows:
• Sections, images and other content on product pages can be easily edited or interchanged.
• Sections that aren’t required can be hidden until they are needed.
• Design templates are applied to ensure brand consistency across the site.
• Changes to the site can be viewed in a test type environment before being published to the live website.
