Amstel’s origin lies in Amsterdam – so what could be better than an Amstel competition giving away an EPIC trip for two to Amsterdam? Amstel’s brewing pedigree is that of an authentic Dutch beer brewed with the very best ingredients since 1870.
Amstel briefed Techsys on a USSD campaign to drive volume nationally and enrich data. Consumers simply needed to purchase any Amstel beer, find the unique code on the cap or tab underliner and send it via USSD (*120*132#) to stand to WIN BIG. Techsys developed the USSD line and all SMSes, bulk and triggered.
The results? Consumers entered an average of 12 times over the campaign period, with 23% of the consumers being new to the Amstel database.
